Posted By : MichelleY Posted : 8/27/2010 Comments : I first met Dr. Woodruff about 5 years ago when he came to check up on my 7 cats (yes 7) There is no way I could transport all of them and they were not stressed by the examination, because they were home. He now cares for my two kitties, Obie and Punk, and instead of running away, they come to see him and 'participate' in each other's exams. My most grateful moment with Dr. Woodruff was about 4 years ago when my beloved kitty, Kimba Sue, age 17, could no longer go on and was ready to pass over. Dr. Woodruff came to my home, with all of the other cats in tow. Kimba Sue was on her favorite bed. She did not have to endure a car ride to a noisy clinic with strange people, smells and pets she did not know. He spoke quietly with her and pet her. She was very sick but relaxed. The other cats jumped on the bed, purring loudly and groomed her, as if they knew. Her best friend, Punk, stayed with her until the end, nuzzling and grooming. Dr. Woodruff was wonderful as he let the other kitties be part of her departure. It was stress free, dignified and peaceful. It is the best final thing I could do for the feline that had been such an important part of my family for so many years. There are no words to express my gratitude to Dr. Woodruff for giving her such peace and allowing the other family kitties to be part of the process. He is a wonderful vet and you will be lucky to have his services.
Posted By : April Heltsley Posted : 7/3/2010 Comments : We've seen lots of vets in our time, but Dr. Woodruff far surpasses any of them in how well he cares for my 4, now 3, dogs. Not only is he wonderful with them, but his care of their humans is exceptional as well. Our relationship began out of convenience ((3 large dogs + 1 small)* vet hospital visits = insanity) it remains out of loyalty! Thank you Dr. Art!
Posted By : Robyn T. Skowronski Posted : 3/25/2010 Comments : We were patients of Pet Housecalls for ten years prior to moving to Columbus, Ohio from Bloomington. The old saying, "You never appreciate what you have until it's gone" rings true. Art and Debbie were not only great professionals who had a genuine love and appreciation for our pets; in spite of their sometime crazy behavior, but were also great friends. In one instance, after a Rocky type fight between my two dogs, Art came out at 10PM to patch them up and more importantly make sure I was OK. In other instances, Art and Debbie have helped us through the loss of our beloved Lab Bruiser, "world's greatest dog", Dutchess, "world's greatest dog #2", and our cat Simba, "world's craziest cat".
Not only will we miss the outstanding level of care for our beloved animals, more importantly we will miss the interaction with Art and Debbie. Rest assured, if you are patients of Pet Housecalls you are getting the best.

Posted : 1/16/2010 Comments : Dr. Woodruff has been our family's vet for many years. It is wonderful to have him come to our home to treat our dogs and cats. He has been a comfort to us when we have had to let one of our beloved pets go over the rainbow bridge. Thank you so much Art for all you do.
Posted By : Eliza Posted : 6/29/2007 Comments : 6/29/07 Dr. Woodruff makes it possible for us to have 3 healthy, happy cats. Imagine crating them up for a ride to the waiting room of a clinic-- And all the rest!
When it was time for our beloved Eddie to go to his final home, Art gave dignity and peace to Eddie's final moments. I could sit on my own sofa and hold Eddie in my arms as he left us. Thank you Dr. Woodruff!
